This office now has a sign in office it will take 1 to 3 hours before seeing the doctor. Its bad people bring good and drinks to wait for there visit. Staff not friendly. This office over books per visit and only one doctor.
My wife had a 12:40 appointment and told to be there 10 minutes early. At two she was still in the waiting room along with many others that had waited that long or longer. She had her eyes checked and we got out at 3:00. they should do better scheduling. No way should it take that long. Very unhappy with the whole office visit. The office should be manage a lot better.
Horrible. We waited from 12:45 and didn't get seen until almost 5 pm. This place is unbelievable. The staff and eye doctor are not on point. Very unprofessional.
Coastal may have a great reputation for diagnosis and surgical repairs but are certainly not into any preventive care!
one star says it all
This office does not perform preventative eye care! I had a comprehensive, routine eye exam performed at the Murrells Inlet office in June of this year. Apparently, this office does not perform routine exams only diagnostic exams! Never heard of such a thing! Furthermore, my exam did not include a prescription for eye glasses without an "extra charge". I was given a written prescription that was supposed to me the same as my current prescription. This prescription was used for a new pair of eyeglasses. After experiencing nausea, severe depth perception issues and blurriness, I had my eyes re-examined at another facility and was given a completely different prescription that matches what I had been using. I am now out another $200 for new lenses, had to call Coastal several times to get my bill resolved and am still bristling over the experience.
