I registered a complaint with the DOJ over this Americans with Disabilities Act violation. Hopefully by the time other reviewers find my review the owner will have learned about the ADA in greater depth & be compliant with the law.
This place was so good. The coffee is light, non acidic, and very smooth. The espresso is bold, dark and flavorful; they have it all. Pastries are great too, and the cream cheese is clearly fresh and quality. I could come back every day.
This place is a dream. My friend and I tried it out for the first time today and we loved everything about it - the food, the drinks, the atomosphere - it was such a unique, cozy little place, and I'll definitely be back soon. I got the ham and cheese quiche and an iced lavender vanilla coffee; both were 10/10 and the prices were extremely reasonable for being an independent coffee shop! The front room with the vines was my favorite
Do not miss this place! But if you do, if you come back the opposite way, you should be able to find it. The lavender vanilla latte was delicious, as was the food. The decor in the cafe is adorable. Take a break, from your vacation, haha.
Wish I lived closer. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. I enjoy whatever they are brewing. Excellent chocolate chip cookies
This place gets one star for excellent coffee. It genuinely is good. Without that it would have been zero. The owner denied me entry via an illegal policy of requiring ID cards for service dogs. As per the ADA a service dog must be trained to mitigate a disability and under strict handler control. It is illegal however to demand ID cards or certification "proof"; they did not ask me if he was a service animal and they did not ask me what tasks he is trained in. Being able to answer those questions (alongside his utterly impeccable public access training) ARE the proof. ID cards are commonly used by fakers or sold by scammers to the ignorant. It was humiliating to learn an ill behaved purse dog was allowed to enjoy their coffee because the owner bought a fraudulent ID while I was forced to leave despite 2 years of intensive training and 2 additional years working without issue.
