Haven't been fishing there yet but I understand it is free and open 24-hours a day which it very cool! very nice area all together as it is the heart of the Garden city area. It is a very nice beach. There's a restaurant on the pier and is a great area for family with young children as they have a nice arcade and rides for them nearby (within walking distance to the pier. Have been there for a few sunrises and in a world as crazy as ours is right now it is certainly a place to relax and center oneself.

This is one of nicest places you will visit. You can listen to music.. try karaoke.. go fishing. . Any number of things. . Great place for trying photos. . Great family atmosphere. . Cool arcade games.. nice outlets to the beach as well.
The pier is a great place to go. Plus it's free to park. If you can't find parking under the pier you can park across the street as well. The little restaurant in the pier has the BEST crab cake sandwiches ever! OK, for the price they are fantastic. The pier has live music and you can rent fishing equipment and buy bait to fish with their all day wrist band you can buy. A must visit.
Very outgoing and relaxing day and evening, food, drinks and the ocean. When I first got here I was literally blown away by the comfortable homestyle feeling this place felt as with the causal music and just sitting back drinking some drinks on the Pier. Everything was perfectly placed such as lighting and sound and views. This is a place I find hard to explain but will never forget it.. most relaxing beach outside of the Florida area in my opinion
Beautiful pier to take the kids here. Safe for the kids to stay. Especially, the bridge has its own chairs and bench to sit down! Best of all the piers i went.
