The food is EXCELLENT. It includes a store with very nice inexpensive clothing, games, etc.
My food was really good along with the rest of my family's. The waitress was very good. But when my father-in-law ,(retired airforce), went to pay the cashier, ask if they had a military service discount , the cashier replied in a rude manner, " WE DONT DO THAT HERE",. The reply delivery is what offended my father-in-law, which kept his thoughts to himself until we got out side and said thats the last time they will get his money.
I have gone to this restaurant for years and have never had nothing but the best service and food ever. Everyone has always been so welcoming and it is always clean and well maintained. Not to mention great sales on merchandise! Thank you Cracker Barrel for your great service to our community!
Went there on Thanksgiving Day 2017 with my family of 17 people waited over an hour to be seated was told that we could not be seated together that we would have to be at Separate Tables. After we ordered our food some of us did not get what we ordered left out part of the orders so we told the waitress about the rest of our food not being there the waitress told us that the managers had gone back and started rushing the Cook's & that started messing up the orders that everything was fine until then. So we said something to the managers and they was real smart and had no concern of getting our orders right or maybe even a discount. Was more concerned of getting the checkers and right on the table for someone to play a game was just really short with all of us. Then when we did get our food one of my family member had a Hair in there food & still nothing. I was really upset & disappointed I had been going to this Cracker Barrel when I am at the beach & had no problem till that day & yes I had been there before on Thanksgiving. I even call 4 days prior to our arrival on Thanksgiving and ask for a reservation was told that was their business day and they couldn't do it and I told them to expect a party of 17 they said that was no problem just would have a little wait time but did not say anything that we could not be seated together. Just very disappointed!
If I could give it a zero I would, we visited this establishment around 830 pm. I had blueberry pancakes which were yummy as usual but the rest of my parties food was cold, not even luke warm, but as if it was taken out of the fridge and served. We spoke to manager who offered to microwave our food. We decided to go home and microwave our own leftovers. Very disappointed, we frequent cracker barrel, it has always been our favorite go to place while traveling, never experienced such dissatisfaction with Cracker barrel.
